weddingThe wedding is a larger ceremony where two people celebrate the start of a new life united together.  Many countries and religion has the old tradition of the bride in white, while the groom is dressed up in a nice suit. The white wedding dress the bride wears is a symbol from the Victorian age, where it symbolized the bride was pure. Hence, second and third marriage for a lady is often performed in other colors.

And for those who taught white wedding dressing were only a Christian tradition should make a Google search and view images from Muslim countries like turkey and Saudi Arabia. Their wedding dresses are just as white as the Christian bride. I assume the most significant different between religious and state wedding; are that the bride in religious weddings often have a more covering wedding dress.

Anyway; I didn’t mean to start a religious debate, or to offend anyone; I just wanted to make clear that there are many traditions within marriage; thought there are cultural differences; there are also many similarities.

Many cultures also have the wedding band as a symbol when getting married. The wedding ring itself is circular, and is in mathematics and logic considered a special attribute of having no starting point, nor any ending points; it’s pure circular; never-ending. And this is exactly what the wedding bands represent; the never-ending love between two people.

In almost all weddings there are authorial persons validating the promises the couple make to each other. In some countries there is a need for both a public, or political wedding, and a religious wedding, as some countries do not recognize a religious wedding as legally binding. But still the couple might want a religious wedding to vow their love above their God as well; and are confirmed by religious authorities. For most western weddings, this person would be a priest; but it might also be an imam or other religious leaders as well.

The wedding is for many couples a unique experience, where they celebrate their union with family and friends. This is for most couple one of their first and largest days together. Some couple wishes to remember this special day with memories of themselves and the guest. They often hire a photographer to make these memories “eternal” through images.
